Im a pretty big guy and I was unable to get my arms in between the narrow area behind the engine and was unable to get to the rear O2 sensor, so I took the part and the car to my local Lexus dealer, charged me $90.00 for the install. Ive been told a Toyota dealer can do it a little cheaper than a Lexus dealer.

yeah it's quite painful, but I am able to squeeze in there. i figured there would be people that had trouble, and you're the first one i encountered. but seriously, you should have been able to do it, maybe you needed a different tool or approach? and "bank 1 rear" makes no sense anyway, how you know he/she is referring to the upstream sensor... could have meant downstream for all we know! ha ha ha
