I took out the fuel pump to replace in my 1999 es300. now it wont start. it was fine before... is there some kind of fuse or relay that could have gone on it???

There is a fuel pump rely, but if it ran before you replaced the pump I would not suspect that is the problem. It sounds like you may need to pull the pump back out and double check everything.

you took the fuel pump out. that's all I understand. your next point is a question about is there a fuel relay. this might shock you, even though you're good enough at car repair to remove a fuel pump, but there is a fuel relay for car with electric, in tank fuel pumps. on cars like this its in the engine bay.

my question for you : why did you remove and replace the fuel pump ? did you buy a new one and replace one you thought was bad, or knew was bad? was a it a quality pump?
