Default Windom Headlight Question

So I am selling these lights off my 93 lexus with 6k HID's. I put them for local sale on craigslist but only had responses from guys with newer 96-99 models. I was asked if these were able to some how be installed on newer models with little to no body work. I have no idea so i decided to ask here.........

96 was still the 2ES. You're referring to 97+

Hmm, never payed attention to the revisions of the headlights but they're identical to my 96 version. The flash probably lit up the bulb inside to make the entire thing orange

I had them on my 93 so yes they do fit....I hate doing business on craigslist! I had one guy come out and offer me 50.00. And because his english was poor, he wrote me an I O U note.

Yeah, I still don't understand why Lexus would put projector headlights as standard equipment in the 2ES and not the 3ES, other than cost saving I guess?? Regardless, this is one attribute of the 2ES that makes me a jealous 3ES owner!

I think at the time the idea of both projects and regular halogen housing was not very commonplace, so with the addition of the DRLs in the 97+ they probably just stuck with halogen housing since I don't really see DRLs in projectors.

If you want something better you guys should look at LXMN's retro fit for the 97+.
Here --> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...ofit-pics.html

If you guys ask if the 92-96 fit on the 97+ they don't so try doing a retrofit instead.

Yeah, you're right. Mine's a '93 as well and it doesn't have those three horizontal lines across the lenses. I thought those were on '95 and '96 only.
