Well, last week, our 2001 ES300 gave its all to protect my wife in a major head-on accident. A car ahead an an intersection either pulled out or slid on ice onto the road, and a car coming towards my wife had to swerve to keep from hitting her. This car lost control, slammed into the front of my wife's car, then spun around and slammed into the left side, pinning her in the vehicle. She came out on the passenger side (with help from the EMT's). She's stiff and sore, but nothing major. Thanks, Lexus, for making a car that really protects it's passengers.

that must be tough to bear, and makes you realize life is short...

I hope she feels better, and i am sure you don't mind having the car written off, vs. a loved one...

 

Cars can be replaced; people can't.
