Question about SC430 wheels.
Hey guys, we just bought a 99 ES300 and were wondering if anybody has tried installing the SC430 pie plate wheels on the ES? I did some research and the 18" pie plates with 245-40-18 tires is only .2 of an inch larger in diameter than the 15" stock wheels and tires. The main reason for asking is I have the old set of pie plates off our SC430 laying around since I put 20" wheels on the SC and if someone has already tried the SC wheels maybe there are some pictures of said wheels on the ES floating around somewhere so I can see if I like them before going to the trouble of installing them on the ES. I do plan on getting rid of the pie plate center caps and installing the 05 SC twisted center instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its been done, numerous times i might add.
Pictures? There is tonnes, you simply have to search and look, as they are all over the place.
For them to fit 100% you need a 3mm or 5mm spacer in the back, for them to clear the struts.
And that is all.
They do look great, IMO. I was looking to get a set this year myself
