1999 ES 300 Drive axel seized
Any tips or suggestion how to remove passenger side drive axel seized in transmission?
Few months ago my mechanic (actually not bad mechanic) could not replace slightly damage axel boot and now the whole drive axel is gone.

Thank you guys for quick answer.
1. You are right, it's probably seized in the bearing mount
2.Whole axel is gone - it's mean making noise when I am driving and turning the wheel.
I just check it in the garage and they confirm that I need a new axel, and scheduled me for tommorrow. Maybe I should't worry at all. To replace the boot without damaging the axel is one thing and to remove the whole axel which is gone is another?

the axle boot should not be replace, a new axle from ''raxles.com'' should be gotten or a toyota/lexus part. reman and 'new' from local parts places are often crappy and lead to vibrations that will bother the driver, and have dubious long term reliability.
as far as you have a place doing the work, why you annoying us then? why would you have worried? some of what you said didn't make sense, but I'm trying my best to understand. the passenger side has a axle carrier thingamabob and a stub axle that goes into the tranny and a regular cv axle on the other side of it[the carrier]. it's often hard to remove the carrier. the axle though you just gotta take your time and get it out. if it really can't be gotten out, then one might try removing the axle with the axle carrier to allow a better application of force/tools/equipment to seperate it. if it's stuck in the hub, well, I'm going to say that would be a pain but that might require a new spindle, but usually tools can seperate the two parts .
good luck. also, have your driver side axle's boot replace at this time. trust me on this one. if it was recently replaced [the whole axle or the boot] already, ignore this recommendation.

Must you always be a douche bag when you respond on these threads. If you have such a problem with what he is saying then why don't you just refrain from responding. No body is asking for your specific reply, and usually is not needed. And please stop saying "gotten", its not a freakin' word!!
