92airflowmeter.doc
Do not try to make that airflow sensor to work, it sounds like they sold you the wrong one. I have attached a couple diagrams that show the airflow sensor circuit, along with the air temp circuit. Do the the combination of codes that you have, I assume that the BR wire has a open,(or the terminal is damaged). Without a grd to the airflow meter, the meter output signal would be pulled to +5 volts (no matter where the wipper of the potentiometer is) Also since the same BR wire supplies the grd to the temp sensor, that would also be pulled to 5 volts.
The Bg grd wire would explain both codes, it is HIGHLY unlikely that there is a internal problem with the airflow meter. You need to use a DVM and find out where the break is. It is a very bad idea to replace parts without making the required voltage checks first

didn't you have another thread about this, and what did you think of the advice others and I have about it?
secondly, I agree with george jet. you should only use the 92/93 VAF, but, theoretically you could use the prior one too, but you shouldn't. the later one, nope, totally impossible to use it with the factory ECU due first to a totally different [INVERSE] output pattern.
you also shldn't get another used VAF if your problem is the common one...for obvious reasons. but i am not sure if you are up to speed on the common problem etc.
