Default Coilovers

Has anyone put coilovers on their ES? I just put 19's on my '96 ES and there is still a large gap in the front wheel well. I would like to lower it without killing the ride. I heard coilovers ride pretty smoothly. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

I have a custom job in the bag soon. It is the same set of coilovers gen 3 camry people use available out of a company in LA. However I am holding off on it as people are begining to note that they ride nothing like "silk" even with aftermarket shocks tokico etc, the ride is still very harsh and bumpy....

without aftermarket shocks it is just downright terrable.

Might want to search the forums...I've seen posts saying that the H&R 1.6" drop springs preserve the smooth ride best, but I don't know firsthand.
