quite a impressive list, I am surprised that the auto transmission can handle that much power. Glad to see the pictures of the track much more responsible place to conduct that type of tests.

That is a nice ride but how much money does he have in to it a lot I'm sure. Did he run it at the track(drag) yet if so what kind of numbers we talking or did he build it for something else? It is a pretty heavy car but u can make any car quick with the right amount of money and knowledge. We were talking more along the lines of factory. Props for doing something different.

Tony's (www.dynaMotorsports.ca) tranny is built up by IPT to withstand the power. He drives the car all the time. It;s not simply a dyno queen or weekend car. He does most of his own work, and his work is top notch. He's a really great guy.

As for the track, I don;t know. The current setup he finished a couple months ago not long after I saw him, and being winter, I KNOW he has not hit the track yet to see the #'s.

I don't think the ES300 is slow,I bought mine used but maybe mine is upgraded who knows, but I've kept up with a 98 camaro Z28 with 150+ hp easy over me and still I kept up with ease so it has to do with the driver. and how good you are AT driving, power isn't everything, weight, has a lot to do with take off, traction a lot has to do with 0-60 and 1/4 mile times MY ES can do a 1/4 in 14 seconds tops im sure just by what I've been able to do and beat

^ Um, 14.0 1/4 mile? Not unless you have mods. Please don't even try to argue me on that. I'm puttin out WAY over stock power and ran a 14.55 1/4 mile, and my car weighs less.

but asg14, he is "sure!"

gotta love how he doesnt mention his year es300 nor transmission either showing that he doesnt know that some years have different performance than others, he also doesnt konw if his is upgraded. lets see, to not notice nor believe that your car is upgraded if it is able to compete with a camaro z28 ....

but yeah this whole entire thread is pretty funny and a great diversion, i think we all can agree on that

I too am sure that you can do 1/4 in 14, just not from a standing start. You do realize that NOBODY believes this!

I clocked my 2001 es300 0-60 in 7.8 seconds, not fast, but it is definitely enough power for merging onto the freeway, been up to 125 in my car and it was still relatively composed..To the OP, what you did is honestly one of the stupidest things i have ever heard being done and it had never crossed my mind that people did it because it seemed people had more common sense then to do it. Please don't do it again, last thing we need is a thread saying "I crashed my es300 on a makeshift dyno" On a side note, the v6 in our cars do leave a little bit to be desired, but what about those 4 cyl camry's and cars like the mb s320, those cars must be ridiculously slow

Thank god someone is listening to me. Talk is cheap because I have a car that has 900whp and runs 7's in the 1/4 mile (I'm joking if you did realize). Just because you seen it online or the factory say so doesn't mean thats what it is in real life there is alot of factors that change the numbers. Slips or it didn't happen

Some of these people on here think you can add a CAI and a exhaust ,and you get 50 more hp and 3 seconds off the 1/4 mile time. Just because the box says that u gain that hp. Sorry it takes alot to get them gains not just that stuff.
