no one on here has done for the whole soldering issue.

And no one has done it ever, so no write ups...

Not what i implied at all. I tried to answer the question directly, since i know how useless the search function on this forum can be at times... And there would be no results, as i know for a fact there are only 2-3 posts on that topic!

i did use the search button, no one seems to have done this and reported it to the forum. Here's what I found, for the buttons, the rating is 8V, 60mA bulbs, 4.12mm sized if i were to use a LED, I would probably use a 3mm LED with aroudn 220ohm resistor , but im not sure if the radio would have some space for the resistors...

their is a post here somewhere if u just wanted to replace it oem. You could buy the whole soft faceplate to the radio, or what lies directly behind the buttons.
it comes from pioneer with all the bulbs already in it. No soldering. cost was about 90$ iirc.

just a thought.

dude, for 90$ get a new head unit, that will have way more features, be up to date and generally sound better. Unless of course you are a purist of LExus ES300's that is...
