replace burnt radio button bulb with leds ? (97 es300)
Anyone have experience in replacing the burnt bulb buttons in the radio to LEDs? if so, what type of LED should i get ?
soldering and desoldering is not a problem for me

i did use the search button, no one seems to have done this and reported it to the forum. Here's what I found, for the buttons, the rating is 8V, 60mA bulbs, 4.12mm sized if i were to use a LED, I would probably use a 3mm LED with aroudn 220ohm resistor , but im not sure if the radio would have some space for the resistors...

their is a post here somewhere if u just wanted to replace it oem. You could buy the whole soft faceplate to the radio, or what lies directly behind the buttons.
it comes from pioneer with all the bulbs already in it. No soldering. cost was about 90$ iirc.
