Rolling/Shaving fenders.
Can anyone explain what this means? My friends shop told me to roll my fenders if i wanted a big width but I forgot to ask them to explain. I didnt want to sound kiddish by asking them. Care to explain for me?

Rolling or shaving your fenders allows your wheel to compress up into the wheel well (or preferable ride up in the wheel well ) without rubbing the protruding fender........................... & adds 8-10 hp! I prefer shaving because you eliminate the chance of bending or creasing your fender in the process.
That thin little strip just above the wheel is whats left of my fender. Take a look at yours and you'll see the difference.
