Hey my dad's 2000 ES300 just hit 90,000 a couple weeks ago and we are wondering how much the 90K service costs at the dealership.
My Acura's 90K service was about 1500. But that was for all the belts, fuel filter, a alignment, and tensioner in addition to the timing belt and water pump.
Can we expect to pay about the same?
One more question, how rare it the platinum series option on the ES?

...what option?
The 'platinum' series, was just that, a series they sold them as that in pretty big numbers, i have seen quite a few around. Then again it is most of the 2000 ES's are platinum because of the the year 2000.
I have no idea what the cost is to you. I don't recall how much i spent, but it wasn't ridiculous to be honest. I had the water pump seals/belt/cam seals, and a few other misc. bits changed because 'once your in there' type deal.

I didn't know that. It has the xenon lights, 16in 5 spoke wheels, coach leather, and the auto leveling headlights. It is a gold two tone. I thought platinum series was a sort of options package. I am still learning Lexuses.
Yeah the price really doesn't really matter I was just curious. We might bring it to our good local shop.
