Default Throttle Positioning Sensor

2000 ES-300
I am having some issues with the rpm's when my car starts. Sometimes I have to start it several times for it to stay on.
I have cleaned the MAF, replaced the PCV valve, cleaned the throttle and put in fuel ejector cleaner.

I thought the next thing to try would be to adjust or replace the Throttle Positioning Sensor. Does anyone know exactly where it is and how to replace or adjust?

Any other simple solutions are also welcome.

Thanks.

Don't blame the TPS. It seems that you have a leaking fuel pressure regulator.

Heres a pic of a throttle body from a 1MZ-FE, the first red circle in the upper right is the throttle position sensor, as far as I'm aware, no way to adjust it. The second red circle at the bottom is your Idle Control Valve, this valve can build up carbon deposit and prevent the valve from opening and closing properly and could cause poor idle and or the car not starting properly. There are four phillip screws that bolt onto the TB, remove the screws to open up the ICV to clean it out. I just did this, this past weekend when I installed a rebored TB. There was a lot of carbon deposit and valve would stick at times, after cleaning it, the valve moved smoothly.
