Wood Trim piece on 97-01
I noticed the other day while checking out a fellow 1997-2001 ES300 that it had a wood trim piece instead of plastic (such as I have) in the area that surrounds the buttons that adjust the side mirrors and dash brightness. It's located to the left of the steering wheel.
I'd really like to replace my plastic piece with this wood trim piece. Not only can I not find it online, but I have no idea of it's actual technical name. Any help on where to find this part, or what its called?

A bit more research seems to indicate that it was the coach edition 97-01 ES300 that featured that particular piece of wood trim. The coach edition also seemed to feature other pieces of wood trim that look great, see the photo below,
My best bet would be to find one of these coach edition ES300's in a junk yard and pull all the wood trim pieces. Chances of that are pretty slim though, because the yards I visit don't have any 3rd gen ES300's, let alone coach editions.

I was thinking of doing the same thing to my car, but my wife convinced me otherwise.

Those extra trim pieces did not come with the coach edition. They are after market. Probably from the site I gave you, or from a similar site. they should be a perfect match with the existing trim that you have.

It's all bubbly, and 'sticks out' quite a bit on top of the OEM plastic piece. Other pictures revealed it wasn't a 100% match, imo. And for the 150$ i found the cheapest at, ****** that, i want it to match perfectly.
Then again i have the black interior and i am not gonna ruin it Leave it stock, it is nicest I think.
This is the stock interior on the 00-01's, with the Woodgrain option:

Good, it looks like ****. I almost hit 'purchase' online... then saw a few pics on this forum, and the trim looks WEIRD!

I wish I also had the wood trim steering wheel, but I don't.
