I started hearing this high voltage of electric current sound or frequency noise for a short second once in a while regardless of radio on or off. Has anyone experienced this before?

It's not that loud but it does annoy me.

Looks like this thread never materialized.Let me try and give it a bump. I have similar sound emitting from center console of my LS430 when tranny is placed in reverse or drive position and stops when shifter is placed in neutral or park. Sounds like in the movies when individuals are lost and they are trying to tune in a ham radio...
Also gives off the sound similar of a buzzing/humming similar to a transformer with a/c and radio in off position...

Just wondering if you ever resolved your problem and if so what were your findings?
