Subwoofer and amp Wiring Question
I am planing to do my subs soon, but i was wondering where did you guys make a hole to get to the trunk of the car (I dont want to run through the steering wheel rubber boot area like this) is there another way? and where else did you run the wire through to get to the trunk? I searched but all i kept getting was the 2ES. If you have pictures that would be great.

i ran mine under the car and came in through a vent that is at the left of the trunk to the amp and if ur going to use a converter u just run ur av jacks off one of the rear speakers.
In my case i used remote wire to the antenna because it has the same method of turning on.
thats what i did i would of rather ran it trhough car but there is not much room to hide it cause mine was 4gage wire.

I actually just did this a couple days ago... but didn't take any pictures. I'll post what I did for now, and maybe get pictures when I have time.
Starting from the engine bay, I found a small plastic grommet with a couple wires leading into the driver side fender. I had to remove about half of the screws on the fender liner inside the wheel well, as well as the small plastic panel right behind the wheel. I jacked up my car to get some extra clearance, but I didn't need to take off the wheel, though it might give you more room to work.
I fed the power wire right into the fender, then reached under the fender liner, and fed it into the car through another hold that led into the cabin. It has a few wires leading into the car with a rubber boot.
This came out in the footwell on the very left, through a circular metal hole, just above the dead pedal. It was a bit tricky fishing the wire out through the hole, as there isn't much room to maneuver. From there, I led the power wire under the door trim to the back, and through the rear seats. Once you get to the rear seats, you have to reach between the seats and under a rubber/foam insulation layer between the seat and trunk.
If you have any questions, I'll be glad to clarify as best I can. I'll try to get a few pics up soon.
