Repainting an 01 es300
Ive always had a consumer crush on lexus for some crazy reason and i now have an opportunity to buy myself a 2001 es300. The problem is im not entirely fond of the white+gray color and i want to know how much it would run me to get this thing repainted black on black. Also im hearing stories about how the oil has a tendency to jell up and wreck your ****, any way to prevent this besides regular oil changes?

Repaint
Probably around 8000-$12000 to do it correctly. Removing all the glass, moldings,trim,bumpers,etc etc. Just find a black car. Imo anything better than a repaint.

I agree with h8snow... go find a black one that you like. Too much investment into the wrong color. For the money on the car plus the paint you can probably get a newer model as well. Good luck!
