how do you like your aftermarket hid?
i took my 6000k hid kit out to get a replacement because lights were shaking(???), well so i put good old halogen bulbs back and man these don't look bad i mean visibility. i don't know if it was the hid kit that i had or not, but made me rethink about hids on my 98 es300. i had plug n play kit with no modification done to it. is it just me or do anyone in here not 100% satisfied with their hid kit?

Try a 5000k HID kit from DDM tuning..it has a color closer to the oem 4300k and is brighter.
I'm very happy with my plug and play kit, though I wish the beam pattern could be wider (like that of the ls430)

I have a kit from Rikensport. That T bought off E Bay for like $140.00 8000k and no shaking with mine just really made a difference of how much better you can see at night.Very pleased with mine.

I'm happy with mine. They have a clean, stock look which is exactly what I wanted. I do wish I had the proper HID housings for my 01, but I can't justify the price right now, so I've had to keep the beams pointed low so they aren't too bright for oncoming drivers which hinders their effectiveness on my end.

these (the one i am sending back for a refund) are my 2nd set, 1st set were flickering and shaking, and 2nd sets were just shaking, and yes i made sure bulbs were in its place by placing some rubber between the clip and back of bulb... can anyone recommend me decent hid kits at decent price?

My take on it, is that this car should have came with it from the factory on ALL of the cars. the lighting is ****-poor IMO, i will never go back to standard bulbs on this car. I remember some wooded areas i was driving last year, vs. the same are this year. I can ACTUALLY SEE the road!
I'm going to do the fogs in HID this year as well!

I have RTX plug n play 6000k HIDs for my foglights and they are perfect. No problems with them and they are brighter than my headlights LOL. I put them in myself and I'm getting 5000k for my headlights soon but different name brand because RTX doesn't make 5000k.
