1997 Lexus ES timing belt
does anyone know how much a timing belt would be to put in a 97 lexus es? how would you know if you needed one?

Toyota/Lexus recommends the timing belt package every 90k miles...
Price depends on where you go...

On top of the other 2, you do NOT do just the timing belt. You also do:
Water Pump
Tensioner
Cam/Crank seals

If you are just doing timing belt...2-3 hours.
However, you should also replace the spark plugs.
And on top of what the other guys said, you should also replace the idlers, valve cover gaskets, and thermostat.
