Default 2002 ES300 Question

I really like the new ES300's that have come out...but just yesterday I saw a brand new one, the guy must have just gotten it off the lot and it had a spoiler on it. Is this some kind of special option he got done elsewhere. Because I looked on the Lexus website and there are no options for a spoiler on it...if anyone on here has any info whether this is an available option or if it must be done aftermarket I'd really appreciate it...although I have a feeling it came on the car because it still had temporary plates on it, but I guess he could have gotten it done elsewhere, who knows...

I just purchased a 2002 ES300 and from what I remember, there is no option for a factory spoiler. You may want to check with the carsdirect.com site for a pretty comprehensive listing of all available options, but again I do not think that it is a factory option.

Alright, I'll check into it...thanks for the reply. Oh, the spoiler I saw on this ES300 looked very similar to what comes on the new Camry's...so that's why I thought it might have been factory...How do you like the car so far?

I purchased mine about 4 months ago. The performance and handling are not as sporty as the older ES300 models. But, from a luxury standpoint, this car is beautiful. The interior styling/ergonomics are great! I rate it as a 4/5 star car for moderate/high luxury and would highly recommend it as a luxury car to others...!

You should check out the SC430 section, there are some rich cats in there.

Of course maybe some poeple list all the cars in their household.

Those are my current rides, and like bigguyry said, there's some people on here who make my garage look small.

A spoiler is not a standard option on the '02 ES.
There's no sport in the '02 ES...putting a spoiler on one would just be strange IMHO.

not necessarily true, spoilers are only for speed at high speeds. a spoiler lowers the coefficient of drag, allowing for better gas mileage. yes is keeps the car down to the road, but on F1 cars is when you need them. it usually is used to lower coef. of drag, and to add to the look of the car

Have you seen the one picture of the guy who bought his aftermarket. It looks really clean. I'm not sure where the pic is though.
