1997 ES 300 Tail Light swap?
I wanted to replace my 1997 ES 300 tail lights with the tail lights from the 2000 ES 300. I was wondering if anyone knew if the 2000 lights will fit on the 97 body? If so what will I need to do to make it happen?
Thanks for the help!

1. Money
2. Time
The swap is direct plug and play. The money comes from the fact that these are often priced at $400 for the 4 piece set. The time comes in for hunting around on Ebay to piece together a set or to wait until a set comes up. The 2000, 2001 tail lights look WAY better, not only because they get rid of the amber, but also for the red because it is much deeper/more jeweled than the earlier tails.

One more question
Thanks for the help, I have a few friends that run car shops, I was wondering if I were able to find the tail lights from a salvaged 2000-01 ES300 would I just be able to swap them?

You will need I think 2 harnesses from the 01 tails, 2 bulbs don't match up from the 97 tails. I know this because I did the Swap and had to have them send me there harness. Other than that your all set.
