Default '93 4300K HID funny beam pattern

My right side looks normal with no cutoff, a little blurry from age. But the driver side has some prism action, I didn't do anything. Does anyone else have something similar?

heres a ****ty video http://www.facebook.com/v/380553892034

Maybe the ballast and/or bulb is failing? Try swapping the ballast from the passenger to the driver's side and see if you still have the same problems. How old are your HIDs?

This should be your benchmark in terms of cut off. If it isn't, then you need to clean the inner projector bulbs and plastic lens on your car

Wow thats clean as hell, which HID did you use? Someone told me the bulb is out of alignment. Also, could overheating the lamp in the oven cause the projector to warp?

ES300 of course! I believe at the time I was using a MobileHID kit. Heating the bulb will NOT warp anything as long as you don't put the temperature too high or leave it in there for too long. I've had to do mine twice due to my turn signal flaking its orange coloring inside the housing

The problem was the actual bulb, it literally emitted red blue and white on different angles. That's what happens with cheap stuff. I put back my old 6K's that I bought locally and tweaked on the lens spacing to achieve a more even beam and better cutoff. Too bad its so blurry with the frosted lens, I am planning a retrofit sometime this year, most likely the mini H1.
