Default Ideas on how to upgrade wheels

Hey guys, sorry to sound like a noob here...

Anyway I have a 1996 2ES and I'm thinking about upgrading my stock wheels and tires but I'm not really familiar with the whole process. All I know is that I want wheels that are 17-18". What else do I need to be looking for when shopping around? Any help would be awesome.

Thanks.

I really like the way IS300 wheels look on an ES. I'm thinking of seeing if the local tire joint has any and wants to trade for these 18"s I have.

Yeah I like both the IS and GS wheels. I think that would be the cleanest way to go.

Anybody have some for sale?

I don't have any for sale... but I'm putting some IS300 rims on this weekend!

Take pics and post them if you can, I'd love to see them. Is your ES lowered? I'm interested in seeing a lowered ES300 with IS300 wheels on it..

Pics will definitely come when the weekend arrives.

Sadly, I'm not lowered, rolling on stock suspension haha. I think there was a old pic of an ES slammed on IS300 wheels, I'll try to find it.

Erm, if it matters I tested out the fitment of my 3GS wheels on my 2ES before putting them on my Camry (looked pretty decent too). They fit perfectly with the stock tire sizes and everything. Unfortunately I don't have pics but use your imagination
