I have spent the last 30+ minutes searching the forums about this.
Makes me miss my buick
plugs took 10 min to change and only had to choose from AL104 lol.
So my car is a 1995 ES300. Its staying stock, at most i would do is a K&N filter.
I dont have the manual for the car but the sticker under the hood says platinum but threads say go iridium. All i want is good mileage and to pick up a little more performance as im still on stock plugs at 126k.
So far i know i am going to stick with NGK as that is what is available around town.
Now do i do the Standard platinum, Laser platinum or laser iridium?
So in the voice of LEE LOO from the 5th Element - Please Help!

Just get new plugs at lexus, or at least the part plug type. I went through two sets before I ended up with what the dealer puts in and couldn't be happier. If your plugs have 126K, just by putting in new stock plugs it will be a lot smoother. Just my .02

I use the NGK BKR6EGP Platinum plugs, and they work great. If you're just looking to keep it running reliably, you can't go wrong with those.
Also, I wouldn't recommend a K&N filter. They let an insane amount of dust through. I had one on my Explorer for a year, took it off, wiped my finger on the air inlet pipe, and I could easily see a mark from where the dust had been removed.

Well i did it,
I have to say all this hype about the plugs being a "PITA" i really did not have that much trouble at all.
I found the easiest way for the rear was remove the first 2 coils then easy access to the #6. A simple extension with a wobble was all that was needed. Took me around 30 min of actual work if that.
PS i got the Iridium Ix
