Default 2004 ES330 CEL Question?

My 04 ES330 had the CEL illuminate on me the other night; I hooked up my actron code scanner and here's what came up:

P2197 (o2 Sensor stuck lean/bank 2, sensor 1)
P0174 (System too lean/bank2).

Thoughts? Which sensor is sensor 1 (front or rear of engine)? Which bank is what, before or after cat? Clarify please? Thanks!

Sensor 1 (S1) refers to the sensor that is located before the catalytic converters.
Sensor 2 (S2) refers to the sensor that is located after the catalytic converters.

So in your case its in the front of the engine, and is the sensor before the Catalytic Converter

good post PFB.
its the top sensor on the front bank manifold...aka the easiest one to replace.

my moms 2007 solara V6 blew the same sensor 2 times because she was running cheapo 87 octane from the sam's club in the damn thing....

I run the same f'in gas in my lexus and it gave me a CEL for the o2; wonder if I switch gases if the CEL wil go away for good? Funny thing is I also run the same thing in my wife's 08 Camry SE (4cyl) and never have had a issue?

Just so everyone knows; Ebay had the best price for the o2 sensor at $62 shipped; while autozone had it for $199+.
