Just bought myself a 93 ES300. Needed and still needs a bit of work but runs great. 238,xxx miles now. Only drove it about 600 since I got it. Replaced sparkplugs and did an oil change the day after I drove it home. Then the crankshaft pulley broke and I got that fixed. Driving great since for about 2 weeks. Yesterday I checked on the air filter to make sure it was clean and it was. But today on the way to work when I came to a stop and had to wait a minute or two the car would sputter. I think the correct work is sputter. Its like small quick throttle blips almost. Engine doesnt stall or anything or run rough. Drives fun. Once I hit the gas and go its fine. Anly happens when its in drive or reverse while my foot is on the brake not moving or slightly moving under engines own power. Any idea? I did unplug the cord to the MAF sensor and pluged it back it. Im going to check that before I leave work. Luckily I work for a place called Foreign Traffic in Allison Park, PA. But my go to Lexus/Toyota mechanic isnt here today. So I figured Id ask while we are slow and see what I can get from you all. Thanks.
