It seems to me that this harness ingrates into the stock amp from an aftermarket HU.
Is this going to be a plug and play harness?
Just plug in the back of my new radio and then plug it into the wire harness in the car.. and BAM like magic, I have a after market HU running through my amp without any problems?
Am now looking at this unit Sony WX-GT77UI\with the HD radio kit

Sony Xplode is crap. Why do you want double din? For <$300 you can get a decent 1 din Alpine, Kenwood, or Pioneer HU that has xover control built in. Never mind how UGLY that Xplode is - it'll sound like ***. Look at the brands I've mentioned - maybe they'll have one with HD radio for under $300. HD radio is about better SQ - Sony Xplode is not.
