The search tool is probably going to help you out here as I doubt folks have time to type things out stepwise for you. To get you started, CL ES member Smitty put up a NICE worklog on how to get TO the struts for removal. Smitty then installed a nice set of coilovers...you can use much of this information even though you're installing shocks.

IMO you never need to replace the springs. They don't wear out like the struts do. Just replace struts and mounts. KYB's are the best IMO.
