Starting issue (after timing belt/H2O pump change) 01 es 300
I did a timing belt & water pump change. When I put every thing back together **except** for the alt/power stearing belts, I started it & she ran fine. Then I put on the alt/power stearing belts & and she only turns over? I thought it was too much tension on the alt/power strng belts, so I loosened them a little, no luck Is it possible that the computer codes have to be reset to "everything ok"?
Also, How the heck (ll) do I tighten the Camshaft pulley bolt w/o moving the pulley (that sucker needs 156 flbs of torque)?
I am thinking to take it in and ask to have them tighten the Camshaft pulley bolt & check the diagnostics.
I appreciate your time and input.
