94 ES 300 Check Engine
Hello all,
My ’94 ES 300 check engine light stays on permanently, I took it to the dealer and they told me that I need to change my Oxygen Sensor, so I did. After 2 hours later after I left the dealer, the light came back on. A week later, I took the car back; they said that my catalyst converter is bad. I just changed the catalyst converter and reset the ECU. 2 hours later the light came back on again. Any ideas what else I should look for or replace.
Thanks

I have a 98 ES, and took it in right after I got it (about a year ago) for the check engine light being on. They said the error code told them to replace some valve or gasket or something somewhere in the transmission.
So they did (I was still under warranty). Then the next day the light came on again, and when I took it back they said it was giving them the same error code, so they would replace my entire transmission under warranty.
That was when I became Lexus loyal for life...that is some serious customer service. I hope that your problem is not the same, though I also don't know if it was really necessary to replace the transmission.
Good luck...
