seems to me that lexus uses the same two ratchet sizes on all of their things, i think it's a 10mm and a 7/16 or maybe 3/8, try those

if i remember correctly it's a 5/8 in. socket. I think to put everything back in you need a torque wrench for the bolts around the ignition coils.

there's a lot of things you can tighten without a torque wrench. but clumsy or weak people like me need one. if you can get those bolts by the ignition wires back on to 69 in./lbs, good for you. i, on the other hand, would cause all my lug nuts and bolts on the suspension to fall off while driving if i attempted to tighten them without handy craftsman torque wrench. i'd either overtighten or undertighten.

What type of torque wrench do you have? I'm thinking about getting one?

What's a good range to get? 10 - 80ft/lbs?

Would I need a inch/lbs range wrench as well?

Sears has a good selection of torque wrenches. Check em out:

Never use standard, american size tools on your jap metric car. All the bolts on your LEX should be METRIC, and 10mm is the size for most of the bolts on the car. The standard sizes, such as 5/8 etc, will work but you can strip out the screws very easily.

If you'll open your trunk you'll notice lexus includes 6-8 and 10-12 wrenches.
Which is what 95% of the car is.

Other than that you'll run into the occational 14-16mm for the heavy duty stuff.
If you want to know SAE to metric, multiply by 25.4.

1/4 = 6.35mm
3/8 = 9.525mm

So on and so forth.

Like what Nixsun79 was getting at... Very few SAE and metric sizes are interchangeable, however a few are close enoguh to... Just don't round off all your nuts and bolts when they start slipping.
