Default 3ES Aftermarket In-Dash Nav

I'm interested in an aftermarket in-dash nav setup for my 01 ES. I've read of people who found quality units (nav, radio, bluetooth, usb input) on craigslists for $300~ and cut the trim themselves. This definatly interests me, but I'm concerned with how difficult the process may be, particularly the wiring, maintaining the entire functionality of the radio and cutting the trim to look proper and clean. If someone has done this or has info to provide please post it up.

I'm seriously look at the Pioneer Avic U310BT. It's cheap and has the basic functionality I want. Anyone able to provide info in regards to this model?
