Cool

Not a lot of space there, Avascon1. Where were you thinking about placing it?

^ Clarion has a lineup for certain vehicles made to fit in that little amount of space

I'm not sure if the ES300 is yet available.

*Also his BMW '06 325i has two subvwoofers, one under each front seat, you feel it more and it sounds good.

I really don't see this working at all to be honest. There really is no space under the rear seats for anything. Front seats, maybe, then again...you have your seat motors and wires to consider for clearance.

You could always upgrade the door speakers and modifiy them to fit smaller subs.

You could install bass shakers (bass transducers) under the seats for an intense bass experience with virtually no footprint.

It can be done.... there are slim subs... as well as free air subs (only ones I ever had experience with were kenwoods) and they don't "hit" as well as the slim subs... I would do a custom stealth box in the trunk as oppose to under the rear seats. Good luck keep us updated.

you can NOT put subs where the rear seat goes in any year ES300 without removing the lower seat portion and actually sitting on a box. it can not be done, if you actually spoke with the clarion rep, you would know this. some manufacturers make an under seat box for extended cab pickups but no one makes an under rear seat sedan enclosure, period.

Not true... you can't put subs where the rear seats goes without modding the seats. Thats a "truer" statement. With the right equipment and know how anything is possible. Doesn't have to be easy to be possible.

That seems like the best option. If there is another (cost effective) option, I would really like to know about it.

Only other thing is the rear deck..... Not sure it would be any cheaper. You can add slim subs there and build a slim box to sit under the rear deck.
