Default 02 ES 300 Intermittently sticking break + burning smell + break smoking
HI,

02 es300. Intermittently sticking break + burning smell + break smoking
It appears my front left and back right breaks likes to stick periodically to the point both smoking, it happen randomly, I pulled over once and let cool down and it seems let it go, it happen a couple times so far, is there any idea out there? Is it the caliper, brake hose or master cylinder? What it the approximate price to fix the problem.

Appreciate any suggestion.

its the caliper. my 2001 did this to me a few years ago.

scary stuff, the thing was smoking hot by the time i drove to the shop, it just wouldn't 'unstick'... luckily i was a few miles from my friends' garage.

Do you replace lexus parts? if so how much it cost you?
