I'm installing an Avic X710BT hopefully next weekend and have a few questions that I'm hoping to get answered beforehand.

- How do I go about removing the wood trim and radio from the dash?
- Any wiring diagram to assist me with the 70-8113 wiring harness? Any tips in regards to wiring would also be appreciated.
- Any way to still use the 6 disc stock pioneer cd changer in the glove compartment? I've read it's possible to just splice the cd changer wire into the harness and use the changer since the unit is also pioneer manufactered.

I'm sure other questions will arise, especially once I get underway, but for now that's it. I've already dug through old threads to get other information too. As always, thanks for the help.

I found a guide for removing the trim and radio, see attached.

One obscure post from 4 years ago details a mod to utilize the cd changer with a somewhat similar pioneer head unit. I guess my next question is what wire running to the head unit is for the cd changer?

Good Revs: Thanks for the guide. My FM stopped working on my 2001 ES300and I've been afraid of tackling the radio removal. This will help tremendously.
