I have a 98 es300. I was driving it this morning like only 5 mins and everying is OK. But when I try to start it this afternoon, it wont start. Actaully nothing happeds when turning the key. This is the second time it happed to me. Last time I tried to jump the car and I did like three times to make it start. This time I did it again and it did start. But When I turned it off and start over again, it wont react.
So I feel it is the battery wont charge. And I think the battery is more than 3 yrs old.
I made a appointment to firestone, they are offering free battery check. They also have three types of battery, 450cca, 600cca and 800 cca.
I have no idea which would fit this car since I dont know what exact rate is it.
Any idea?

Even if the battery was weak you should hear a click when you turn the key because the starter is trying to engage. I would have it checked though.
My dad got his battery at Costco for his 2000 ES and it has been working well for the three years we have had it. The place you buy the battery at will tell you which one to get.
