so i removed my stereo and put it back on. it wont turn on now, i tried the tricks that everyone said to do. but nothing shows up. any help??

So today, i was just touching the buttons of the radio. And i heard a ticking noise from the antenna. idk if its the antenna or its something from the trunk. any help?

what year is your car? did you check the fuses to see if any of them went out when you unplugged/plugged the stereo back in?

yeah i checked the fuses. it blew and put a new one in. after i put the radio back in and tried turning it on,it wont turn on. the heater and everything is still working. just the radio, and just today i found out about the weird noise. so im pretty lost, i dont want to take it to the dealership and spend tons of money.

check the stock amp. if the stock amp is fried, then the headunit will not have any power going to it. I believe the stock amp is under the passenger seat if I remember correctly. check and see if there is power going into the stock amp from the battery. then check if there is any power going from the stock amp to the head unit. I think this should solve your problem.
