How cold is my AC suppose to be?

How cold is my AC suppose to be?
Right now in 95° heat with 70% humidity the air outlet in my 95es300 is reading high 50's to right at 60°
At night or not when 90+ i can get it to 44 or 42 if on highway. Does this seem right?
Dont get me wrong it feels cold. But looking at my previous cars which all used 134a got to 30s - low 40s with out a problem.
Tonight i am going to hook up a gauge to see what they system has in it. What is this car suppose to be at as far as how much freon?
