1999 ES 300 Cooling fans won`t shut off
Hey Club members, I am new to the club & this is my first post. So I hope that I get this right.....I need some help. I have a problem with my cooling fans that won`t shut off in a timley manor after I turn the Ignition off.. In my repair manual it lists 3 (ECT) Engine Coolant Temperature Switches. It also list A main Engine Relay & A Number 1 Cooling Fan Relay... My fan system runs fine the only problem is my battery keeps running down. Any help with where do I start first. Thanks in advance......

Cooling Fans won`t shut off.....
Hi YesKay, It is normal for the fans to continue running after the Ignition is turned off.. The problem that I am having is the fans won`t shut off at all until the battery runs down. I just need to know which relay switch needs replacing...... Thank you DeaconBlue

Thanks Dcapo, In my first post I think I understood that I needed a Fan Relay Switch. Under the hood on the left driver`s side. In front of the battery compartment is a black box that says Relay & Fuse. Inside that black box are Relay Switches & Fuses. What I wanted to know is which Relay Switch that I needed to replace in order for the cooling fans to complete its cycle & shut down in a proper manner. The Cooling fans will continue to run until the battery has died after I turn the Ignition off.... Thank You
