Thanks 01LEX. Just another question, since my car is equppied with the factory hid bulbs, would that mean if I wanted to update to say 6k Hids I would only need to purchase the bulb, plug it in and I'm good to go? Or would I need the kit including the ballask?
you need the bulb only. If it was me, i'd get a whole new kit.
A pair of bulbs will set you back 30$ shipped, and a kit [with fresh ballasts] will run you 50$
That, and you can keep the OEM's as backups if anything.
