I just put the new Sony screen in a couple of weeks ago and hooked it up to PS2 in the glove box, it looks really nice. I'll take some pics tomorrow and put them up

I just put a farenheit 5.6" in my visor running to a PS2. I like it alot. but i do not have an aftermarket radio, so the sound has to fm modulate into some radio waves and doesnt sound great (that station is already being used around here)

Don't play PS2 while you drive kids.....

Some say it's just not safe.

don't worry, i don't play PS2 while driving, just watch DVDs. The problem is that now I've seen fast and the furious quite a few times

Does look nice, good movie too.

The downside IMO to the flip up monitor is it's getting in the way of the climate control screen, which could be overcome by mounting it lower in the radio pocket with a custom trim piece; but that'd probably look funny with the screen in.

BTW, even watching DVD's while driving is a bad thing, I've got the controls to my EQ-crossover in the sun visor and have caught myself almost drifting while adjusting that.

yes, I have my first screen in the passenger visor, hopefully that keeps me from watching it as much, altough i do find myself watching it frequently. ill take some pics of mine. my PS2 is on my floor right now, i was going to have it flush mounted in with the bottom of the dash, but the glovebox is a good idea, that i did not think about.did you just run the wires into the back, and where is your power inverter?

Actually, I don't think you're going to be able to do it by yourself. I took it to my local store where I get all my stereo stuff and they said it took them all 8 hours of the day to make a custom mount in there and make it fit. Luckily, I do so much business there they give me a discount on installation. About the inverter, it is actually mounted underneath my seat so it is not noticable but i can still turn it off and on when necessary.

oh ok, you custom mounted it in the glovebox. im having it custom mounted into my underside of the dash. so right now all my stuff is on the floor, its gonna be $150 and he will make a custom mold that will still allow me to take out the PS2 if i want
