Those look very nice. I'd love to put a set of them on my Black Onyx '96, haven't seen them for that vintage (although I know they were OEM on the '96 Coach Editions). I've read through the "emblem details" thread, which seems inconclusive about using emblems designed for a different generation ES. I do know, however, that on the 97+, the letters "ES 300" look like seperate pieces, whereas on the 95-96 they have a bar holding them together (it looks like "ES_300").

Mine were seperate, as in one piece was "ES" and another was "300" but those pieces were tape-only, no posts or holes like on the "L"s. The only way they might be tough for you to use is if there is a post/hole under the little piece that connects the ES & 300 on your car that would show without the connector, which I doubt. I guess yours could be a little bigger too, in which case you would run the risk of having a hole exposed somewhere if the new ones are smaller, but I doubt that too.
Is your "ES 300" on the tail light, or level with the "LEXUS" one?

It's a '96, so it's on the trunk lid. They moved the "ES300" up there for '95, and it got moved back onto the taillight for '00 (when they took the amber out of the taillight lenses).
I parked next to a Black Onyx SC430 (same color as my ES) with black pearl badging about an hour ago when I went to lunch. Looked nice. I haven't seen too many black cars with the black pearl in person, see them mostly on Millenium Silver colored vehicles around here (especially RX's)

Great Pics of the Emblems. I just purchased a Diamond White ES 300 and am considering purchasing a set of the Pearl Emblems.
Where did you get those rims????!!!!
They are awesome, also where are the best sites to view pics of ES 300'S with different rims? I am new to Lexus so any help is appreciated.

I have a brand new factory set of black pearl embems for a 1999 ES300 (they can also fit 97-01 models). They are OEM and still in the bags and box. They also come with the "how to care for" instructions.
You can have them for $150 postage paid.

I don't know where you got them, but $150 is pretty steep. I got mine on ebay for $100, and I just saw the same guy has another auction up right now. I think he even has a "Buy it Now" option for $125 or so.

StreetLexus, I got the rims at Big O Tires, they are Quantum Tek. You can find them online too, just search on Quantum Tek.
As far as pics of rims on ES 300's, I would say this site is one of the best you'll find...just check out the ES 300 gallery. You can also look on CarDomain.com, but there are only about 23 es's on that site (and you've already seen mine).
They do have more of the gigantic cheesy chrome ones though, if that's what you're into. A lot of killer systems too.

I got mine from a Lexus dealer and, yeah, I saw that set on Ebay too. First, it's a USED set, mine is BRAND NEW. Second, they could be re-plated whereas mine are factory plated (there is a difference). So, if someone thinks it's worth it to save a few bucks on an inferior set, then so be it.
