RPM Meter stop working

Default RPM Meter stop working

So I unscrew the entire thing out of the car but now im stuck on what am I looking for, the wires are still attached.

so i got the tachometer working again but... it starts and end at 1K RPM...any ideas?

I don't think I have the same problem as you do, but about every other time i start my car, the tachometer stays at 0 until i give the dashboard a smack, then the tach jumps up to where its supposed to be. Im guessing its a loose wire or something, but it doesnt cut out when im driving, only when i start the car.

When i start my car it jumps to 2000RPM then slowly goes down to 1RPM.
