Default FLoooorin' it

Aigh, so it's clear that burning out is egregious for ur drivetrain.

How 'bout, floorin' it, squealin' the tires at every stop light/sign etc...

I'm 16 and jus' got mah license 2 days ago. Ever since then, I've driven 450 miles and have been squealin' the tires everywhere.

Is this OK for the car (mechanically), I'm not worried about the tires cuz I'm replacin' those soon.

peeeeesh,

Oh, it's perfectly OK...Not.

You shouldn't drive like an idiot either, seeing as you just got your license.

By the way, welcome to CL.

Xenon, don't listen to him, i think he just said "not", the word from the mid 90's. if you want to squeal your tires you can, little chirps won't hurt the car here and there. just don't neutral drop all those times.

y'all are talking the way girls fight. i hate it when girls try to be mean to each other. Anyway Xenon, drive any way you want but i hope u don't crash, hit anything/anyone, break your car because of something you do, or get caught by the cops. i think if you burn your tires out when starting, the law says you are "out of control" and cops CAN give u a ticket for wreckless driving so not in front of cops, ok? i am a strong believer that one of the most important things when driving crazy (if u insist) is to have enough time and space to react if something goes wrong. i remember when i got my license. it was only a few years ago so i know how u feel...all excited and wanting to do stuff and *****. just don't drive beyond YOUR limits and the limits of the car. Especially if u have an ES. don't try something that your friend did in a civic. the suspension is proooooobably not up to it. OK then sorry for the long pep talk. enjoy driving

I agree with mezoom, I see people who just got their license driving real crazy, scares the he!! out of me because most of them don't have enough experience to be doing stuff like that. I don't want them anywhere near me or my car. I was there not too many years ago too, after I rolled my car on loose gravel I settled down alot, I hope more people don't have to learn the hard way to calm down and be careful.

I wouldn't try to be too crazy in a stock ES either, mine just didn't feel totally stable or steady enough for me to be comfortable. Now with suspension and wheels it handles quite well and I do like to push it a little when the streets are clear and the situation is safe, but never when I'd be putting myself or others in danger. Just know your limits, the limits of the car and the situation; and don't try to stretch them.

I have an upgraded suspension on mine, and i don't really mind the price of tires, so i do burnouts every once in a while...

One of my burnout vids (needs quicktime)

Good, maybe you'll finaly quit critiquing every post made on this forum -- i think if you had an es300, and didn't drive your mom's es250, the users of this forum might take you more seriously.
