Sorry to hear that man but glad you are ok. I know that car meant alot to you and you really took good care of her. I hope mine lasts till 400k. By the way I followed your advice on investing in fixing the A/C and now its ice cold. Keep us updated on what happens with her.

Glad to hear that you fixed your a/c. I know you'll be able to keep your ES for a very long time to come and she'll take good care of you. My a/c is still cold and she runs well after the accident.

I noticed you live in Virginia. I have relatives in Bristow, Gainesville and Fairfax. I'll be going to Virginia this November...

You bet. My uncle has an IS 250. I'll bring him along as well. There's also another Club Lexus member by the name of mmarshall that lives in Manasas. We'll have to meet up with him as well...

I'll let everyone know what's the latest with my ES 300 as time goes by...

Sympathies and condolences, Trexus.

Glad you weren't hurt and I completely empathize with wanting to keep your 2ES going. To you and your car:

Wow,, that really sucks!!!!! Important thing is that you are ok. I know how much you emphathize with your car and the memories that go along with her but unfortunately, judging by the damage from insurance standards, she willmost likely be totaled. Good luck with the search with your new vehicle. Keep us all updated.

Good thing only your car needed fixing. You really are very fortunate. Do you really have 400,000 miles on that car? That is a "whole lotta love" you have for it. Everybody should take such good care of their things.

Thanks for the kind words and support for me and my ES. I still have lots of thoughts on what my next plan is but I'll be talking with the insurance company tomorrow and let's see what happens...my car still runs great and the a/c is still cold and we had 100 degree weather today here in Monrovia, CA.

Yes, I do have over 400,000 miles. I hit it last week and a half ago. See post #65 in the thread below. I do have lots of memories with my ES and she's been very good for me...

Update! I pulled the trigger and got a 2011 CT 200h. Here's a very first rough picture of her. It rained here in SoCal for a couple of days and haven't had a chance to give her a car wash yet. Once I do that I will update with current clean pictures most likely in the CT forum. Everyone here in the ES forum has been great and I'll miss this section of Clublexus...
