I'm having some difficulty reinstalling my stock shift **** on the 01 ES. I can't seem to get the shift button on the side to function with the rod on the inside that allows you to shift. I'm wondering if there's a slot or something that the rod needs to go into. Any help would be very much appreciated, as I can't drive the car at this point.
