gauge fuse problems
The gauge fuse (10A) blows intermittently on my 93 ES300, as the gauge fuse feeds many ckts, the only way to troubleshoot this is by the process of elimination.... fortunately many of the ckts drive relays, so they can be removed to eliminate them.... soooo since this is an intermittent (which by the way is the bane of all techs), I am hoping that someone else has had a similar problem....so heres hopin.... all replies will be read and appreciated... there is no such thing as a stupid answer.. so get typing...all you whizzes...

I would start looking at circuits under the hood, such as the speed sensor. It gets 12 volts from that fuse, and being under the hood, the wiring is much more likely to have hardened cracked insulation (allowing a intermitent short).

well the problem turned out to be the guage cluster ckt bd.... a few days after I posted the last one the odometer went out... no display, swapped the ckt board... so far so good,,, just my mileage dropped a bunch... was 210k, now 146k....hopefully that will take care of it..
