What year did the ES300 go to a wideband O2 sensor?

Trying to find out what year Lexus went to a wideband (air fuel ratio-AFR) oxygen sensor. I'm talking about upstream of course. I searched but I could not find any hits on wideband or AFR.

California models use wideband AFR.
