I'm in the market for new bulbs for my 00 with the stock hid, and since it's not cheap I want to choose right. So give me some pictures of yours and tell what they are

I don't have any pics right now, but I have 5000K HID's in my car, with the stock halogen reflector housings.
Like 01LEXPL said, I vote for 4300K or 5000K to get a clean, white light that is close to OEM. 5000K is slightly whiter than 4300K (which is OEM).

I do NOT recommend you cheap out on bulbs (assuming you have the stock HID's). I converted my car to the HID assemblies so it was more convenient to use a $100 kit than source out the stock 9+ year old ballasts. You however have those ballasts and going with the higher end bulbs will give you a better, cleaner brighter output. Regardless of what others say, there is a difference between these cheap HID kits and the Denso ballasts and their bulbs. Here's how mine looks, not bad IMO, and here is how it looks next to my fathers 03 ES with stock HID's. They are both 4300-5k, and they look pretty similar up close, but the output is noticeably different on the road.

What goodrevs said^^^ You can cheap out all you want on HID components and I can promise you they wont last and perform like OEM. Yeah sure there are some people that have possibly had good results with the cheapo stuff but I am speaking from my experience. Using OEM components I have never had a problem whatsoever on all sorts of applications. Using cheap stuff I have had ballasts go bad, I have had bulbs that wouldnt ignite every time, and the bulbs did not match in color output, not to mention they all failed prematurely.

Sorry to let you down but I'm in high school and can't get a job so 50 bucks for a light bulb goes a long way haha. I have the stock hid 4300k like I said I'm more trying to decide whether to keep the 4300 and match the fogs to them, or go up to 6000 for both. But I have to say R1R your yellow ones are the best looking yellow fogs I've seen. No matter what I want to get high quality bulbs so do you guys have a good place online to buy them?

GL sourcing OEM Denso ballasts on a 'bugdet'. Assuming they can make you some, they're gonna be in the 500$ range.
It comes down to cost really.
I have a PNP kit, its been going for 3 years and on two cars in the lifetime. best part? It was 50$ shipped to my door and its a brand that is well recognized all over, so at 50$ i will buy two kits and replace a ballast vs. a 500$ unit.
I did the same in my dad's SUV. THere's no way i'd shell out 300$ for a denso ballst when i have a new good kit for 50$...

I've have 2 pnp hid kits and while not superior quality the worked very well with no problems whatsoever. No flickering or melting of harnesses of any sort. DDM tuning has lifetime warranty on there pnp kits. I have there 6k low 3k fog kits on now
