Early this year, I had a shift solenoid on my son's 1996 ES300 replaced so it would pass emissions inspections. It passed, however, right after it was replaced we started having problems with it shifting from first to second. Didn't have ANY trouble prior to the replacement. The mechanic (dealer) said it was a coincidence. Any thoughts...recommendations?
